A beautiful celebration of a love story that actually go as far back as Creche days. Can you imagine? It also has some 3months of travelling through South-America together, working oversees and many other adventures, including thriving through a world Pandemic... Because if their story isn't perfect enough and that they totally feel like those type of couples that truly are made for each other and no one else(always a privilege to get to capture). They also took 2020 in the stride like champions and decided to let time tell, but never be dismayed as to whatever this year had in store for them. Needless to say, they got married on their original Wedding Date and it couldn't have been a more touching and beautiful event amidst these times - It's a beautiful thing that happens when love is this true! Julle, thanks for being an inspirational couple of hearts. I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to capture this memorable day, and never questioned me when I gave you the "DRAMA" cue. Haha. All Rights and Music Credit: "Chateau", by Angus and Julia Stone Wedding Venue: Greenhouse Café, Rosemary Hill Farm If it wasn't enough that this enchanting Venue, made for an overall aesthetically pleasing experience, it is obvious that these two are damn hot! But wait, then there was the fact that this might just have been one of the most touching Ceremonies I've ever experienced between two hearts. The passion - was tangible! When this bride saw her groom at the end of the aisle, he couldn't wait a second longer and just had to fetch her mid-way, I closed my eyes, and triggered the shutter as many times possible, hoping that the moments I feel, make it to the other side. Luckily, by grace, they did. Add - the weather factor, my goodness! Offering the exact amount of lenience, when the earth needed, a much needed chill, the downpour came for a brief and spectacular 20 minutes, just after the Ceremony, we thought we were bound to have a wet(see: damage controlled...) couple shoot, then, the skies cleared, to allow for the perfect amount of golden light and some dramatic clouds to add even more effect to the perfect day, oh, add a rainbow ...and you can imagine us photo- and videographers, basically(no, literally) jumping for joy, for us... a dream. Happy to be alive, and hope to have done this day ANY type of justice. And on the premises, surrounded by lush Vineyards and generous Mountain Views, you will find the Wine-and (delectable)Food focused Floréal Brasserie. With the owner running the entire setup hands-on and her husband on her side, also the head Chef. Add the kindest staff - and you have a personal experience at its best. Highly recommended! If the setup and service wasn't enough, I naturally felt part of the family since the first meeting with these Sweethearts and equally so on their Wedding day, these generous hearts had me inspired to create a timeless story - Happy to be me. I just have to add, I may or may not have had the most(professional) fun, I am allowed to have, that day - with three other men present! :-p See for yourself! Dankie vir een groot pret verhaal julle! So I won't put it like that... But let's get real... Having DJ René as the Live Entertainment at your Wedding? Man, this created a beautiful dilemma of many sorts for me. Being torn between capturing entertaining personalities that surfaced as soon as he started his magic - and I mean EVERY guest, that made me a seriously satisfied Photographer, and SO badly wishing I was a guest myself. (OK, yes I took the opportunity to let my hair down for a song...or 2). This night turned into one of my fondest experiences to date. Really wish you were there.
